MISSION

Our mission at Argyll Farm is to create a small beef operation with a focus on quality and sustainability

HIGH-QUALITY MARBLING.

We’re Akaushi Wagyu breeders investing in high quality genetics to grow our little herd. Our cattle graze in our fields in the warmer months and are housed in our barn during the winter to avoid stress from the elements. We make sure to slaughter our animals only when they’ve reached their peak and natural maturity.

TAKE CARE

We aim to take care of the land like the land has taken care of us for generations. We use rotational grazing methods and spread our cow manure back into the pastures, fertilizing the ground and increasing the biomass year over year. We do this to make sure we leave the land as healthy as we found it.


AKAUSHI WAGYU COWS.

We raise Japanese Brown, Akaushi Wagyu cows. Originally from Kumamoto, Japan, these special cows are well adapted to colder temperatures, making them right at home here in Canada.

MARBLE

Full-blood Akaushi cattle have the highest marble levels of any beef in the world. The higher the marbling score, the more flavourful, tender and juicy the meat is. In our humble opinion, it’s the finest beef in the world.
